Quick Start Guide
Installing the keyboard application:
Method 1:
Sync a connection between the computer and your Symbian Series 60 mobile device
using the phone's sync cable.
A. Obtain the driver from either the CD included with your keyboard or download it from
http://www.thinkoutside.com/support/index.asp?p=btk&o=ss&l=en&t=dr
B. Launch the .SIS file to begin installation.
C. After the driver is successfully installed, the keyboard driver icon will show up in the
Applications
list.
Method 2:
Launch the installation from a Flash Memory card.
A. Transfer the .SIS file to a memory card.
B.
Navigate to the location the file was saved to on the memory card.
C.
Launch the .SIS file to begin installation.
D. Be sure to install the driver to
Phone Memory.
Method 3:
Beam the driver via Infrared or Bluetooth.
A.
Right click the .SIS file.
B.
Select
Send To
Bluetooth device and find your device in the list.
C.
Keyboard driver will appear in the phone's
lnbox.
D. When prompted select
Yes
then
Install.
Configuring the keyboard:
1.
After installation, press Menu on your phone and select
Stowaway.
2.
At the Status page, press the
Options
button, and select
Enable BT.
3. Place the keyboard in
Discoverable mode
by simultaneously pressing
<Ctrl> <Left Fn>
<Right Fn>
keys on the Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard. This is indicated by the Keyboard
Status Light (above the "T" key), flashing green once per second.
4.
Connection and Scanning to discover the Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard should begin within a
few seconds. If necessary, select a
Think Outside Keyboard
from the list and press
Connect.

Bevor Sie die Software der Stowaway Universal Bluetooth-Tastatur auf lhrem Pocket-PC
installieren, sollten Sie lhre Oaten mit ActiveSync
®
sichern. Loschen Sie alle anderen
Tastatursoftwareanwendungen, die Sie auf lhrem Geriit installiert haben, um potenzielle Konflikte
zu verhindern.
Diese Software-Anwendung ermoglicht lhrem Handheld-Geriit die Kommunikation mit der externen
Tastatur. FOr die Tastaturanwendung benotigen Sie mindestens 250 KB Arbeitsspeicher.
Einbau der Batterie:
1.
Den Batteriedeckel auf der Unterseite der Tastatur abnehmen.
2. Zwei (2) AAA- Batterien einlegen und diese wie gezeigt im Batterieabteil ausrichten.
3.
Den Batteriedeckel wieder einsetzen.
Die Tastatur offnen und schlieBen:
1.
Offnen: Den Stander aufklappen, Knopf auf der linken Seite der Tastatur drOcken und das
rechte Teil aufschwenken.
