Cool Symbol
The unit is cooling (Thermometer with an arrow pointing
downward).

Alarm Symbol
Indicates there is an alarm in the system.

Maintenance Symbol
Indicates the need to carry out maintenance to the unit.

Defrost Symbol
Indicates the unit is in Defrost Mode.

Electrical Symbol
Indicates the unit is connected to electric standby AC power
(Models 20/50 only).
Operating the Unit
Vehicle Engine Operation
1. Start the vehicle’s engine.
2. Press the On/Off Key on the DSR controller. The Standard Display will
appear.
The Standard Display normally displays the return air temperature and
the current operating mode with the appropriate symbol. The example
below shows: 38 F temperature and cool mode with an alarm present.
If an alarm is present, the Alarm symbol will also appear on the display.

3. Check the setpoint, and adjust if necessary. Refer to (
Figure 12.
Standard Display
Standby Operation (Models 20 and 50 Only)
1. Connect the external power supply to the electric power receptacle.
Verify the power supply is the correct voltage, phase and frequency for
unit.
2. Press the On/Off Key on DSR controller. The display will be activated. The
electric symbol will appear on the display.
