INSTALLATION
If the pressure is below this then there may be a leak in the refrigeration circuit and
water may be drawn into the refrigeration circuit on start up. If the pressure is below
this then it is recommended that the heat pump be inspected by a qualified
refrigeration mechanic before filling the system with water.
On the HP80 and the HP100 models where there is a two refrigeration circuits be sure
and check both circuits.
Underneath the evaporators will be two fitting for the process water
– one will have a flow
switch attached to it. These are the water fittings for the connection to the installation and will
be marked supply and return. The supply is the hot water to the storage.

All pipe work with heated water running to and from the heat pump should be fitted with a
water resistant insulation material to prevent heat loss and maximise the efficiency of the heat
pump.
