HEAT RECOVERY COIL – 20kW
There is a heat rejection relay also in the junction box marked on the wiring diagram as
“HR”.
Again 240V power will need to be connected to terminals 7 and 8 as marked on the wiring
diagram.
There is a relay in the junction box for heat recovery marked as
“R” on the wiring diagram.
Again 240V will need to be wired to this relay via terminals 9 and 10.
Bothe HR and R are designed to be switched remotely depending on what is call for by the
system management controller. They should not be switched on at the same time.
Control
The fans have been designed to run all the time whenever the system is enabled
– that is
when the RS relay has power. The control of the motroised ball valve and therefore the water
flow is not automatic
– is it designed to be controlled by a remote management system.
When the system has power then the fans will start.
If there is a call for heat recovery
– presumably during summer – then the HR relay should be
enabled and the motorised ball valve will open and water from the heat pump will be allowed
to pass through the coil and heat will be absorbed from the atmosphere.
If there is a call for heat rejection
– presumably during winter – then the R relay only should
be enabled and the coil will reject heat to atmosphere
