NOTE: When one of the hood’s icons is activated or deactivated, the hood will emit a “beep” sound.
SWITCH ON THE HOOD
In order to activate the hood’s motor and light, the hood must be switched on. The hood is switched on by activating the on/off hood icon
brief touch. When the hood is switched on, it will rise up by 30 cm.
NOTE: If the icon On/off hood is activated with a long touch cleaning mode will be activated. All icons will be backlit and all functions will be
locked. For more information look in the section MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING on page 48.
The hood can be raised to 40 cm for extra suction. this is done by activating the icon On/off hood once when the hood is raised 30 cm or twice
when the hood is at the buttom.
If it is not used for 5 minutes, it will go into standby mode, whereby the light and motor will not switch on. The hood is reactivated by
activating the on/off hood icon.
The hood is turned off and lowered down to the worktop by pressing on the on/off hood icon until the hood has turned off and lowered back
down. If light and extraction are switched on, these will turn off before the hood is lowered..
LIGHT
Once the hood has been switched on, the light can be turned on and off by activating the on/off light icon.
The light always turns on at full strength, but can be dimmed using the on/off light icon once the light is on. There are three levels of
brightness. The light is turned off by activating the on/off light repeated times, until the light turns off, or by switching off the hood.
