CLEANING THE EVAPORATOR
!
Warning Injury
The evaporator has many sharp-edged fins. When cleaning the evaporator, proceed with caution and wear
protective clothing, in particular safety gloves.
Maintaining the full output of the water heater at all times requires an occasional professional cleaning of the
evaporator.
Undo the screws that connect the water heater cover and remove.
Carefully clean the evaporator fins. Only use water and a soft brush. Never use acidic or alkaline cleaning agents.
