REMOVING THE HIDDEN BAKE ELEMENT
WARNING
CAUTION
Turn off the electrical power going to the
oven before servicing.
When you work on the oven, be careful
when handling the sheet metal parts. There
are sharp edges present and you can cut
yourself if you are not careful.
1.
Turn off the electrical power going to the
oven.
2.
Pull the oven out of its mounting location
so that you can access the trim and ple-
num covers.
3.
Remove the trim and top plenum covers
from the oven (see Page 10).
4.
Remove the back cover from the oven.
5.
Remove the wire wraps from the vertical
support holes and wrap them around the
wire bundles at the same four locations.
This will allow you to keep the ties around
the same wires when you reinstall the sup-
port later.
6 . Remove the eight screws (circled) from the
vertical support and remove the support
from the back of the oven.
