4. Operating conditions
TFortis SG-Switch lightning protection device is designed for 24/7 outdoor
operation at the ambient temperatures from minus 55
C to plus 80
C.
Meantime between failures at least 50 000 hours (5.7 years).
It is recommended to check the integrity of lightning protection device at
the beginning and the end of the storm season and immediately after the
storm.
5. Installation
5.1. Housing installation
The housing has four attachment points at the edges. Marking of the
attachment points is shown in Figure 3.

WARNING!
Drilling of the housing will lead to loss of device integrity and,
as a result, loss of product warranty.
TFortis SG-Switch can be installed next to the TFortis PSW switch in the
same cabinet TFortis CrossBox-2 or CrossBox-3. These cabinets already
have a built-in optical distribution frame and DIN rail for circuit breakers.
