5.3. Connecting the twisted pair
The protection module of Ethernet circuit is connected in parallel to the
protected lines. That is why there are no differences between input and
output connectors. The ports are equal. There are two connection modes:
A and B (Figure 6).

When the lightning protection device SG-Switch is located in the same
cabinet wit TFortis PSW switch, it is allowed to use a non-shielded twisted
pair between these devices.
It is recommended to use a 4-pair twisted pair, at least category 5.
