Classification  of  technical  equipment  operating  conditions  according  to 
GOST R 51317.4.5: 
 

Class 0 

Protected electromagnetic environment, usually inside a specially equipped room. 

Class 1 

Partially protected electromagnetic environment. 

Class 2 

Electromagnetic  environment  in  case  of  separation  of  power  cables  and  signal 

cables. 

Class 3 

Electromagnetic  environment  in  case  of  parallel installation  of  power  cables  and 

signal cables. 

Class 4 

Electromagnetic environment in case of installation of connecting cables outdoors 

in the proximity of power cables and using multi-wire cables containing circuits of 

electronic and electrically powered equipment. 

Class 5 

Electromagnetic  environment  in  case  of  connecting  technical  equipment  to 

communication networks and overhead power lines in scarcely populated areas. 

Class X 

Special  operating  conditions  established  in  the  standards  and  technical 

documentation for a particular type of technical equipment.
