Operation
The park brake is located on the drive shaft or rear axle and is activated by an Orchelin over-center lever.
With the park brake engaged, the loader will not move even when shifted into gear.
Each time the unit is parked:
1. Bring the unit to a complete stop.
2. Return the direction control to NEUTRAL (N).
3. Engage the park brake by pulling the actuating lever up.
4. Turn the power switch and all system/accessory switches OFF.
5. To release the park brake, push the actuating lever down
6. Return the park brake to the normal position by pushing on the knob and rotating counter-clock-
wise.

Emergency
Hydraulic
Pump
To activate the emergency hydraulic pump, depress and hold the emergency steering button on the dash
while also using the conveyor lift handle to raise or lower the conveyor as required. The pump should be
operated for no more than 60 seconds with a 2 minute cool down period between usage. Failure to follow
this instruction will result in damage to the emergency pump.
WARNING:
ALWAYS SET THE PARK BRAKE ON PRIOR TO SHUTTING OFF OR EXITING THE
VEHICLE. THE DRIVE TRAIN HAS NOT “PARK” POSITION, AND MUST RELY ON THE
PARK BRAKE BEING ENGAGED. OTHERWISE, THE BELT LOADER CAN ROLL
AWAY, CAUSING DEATH, SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY, AND/OR PROPERTY
DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
Power conveyor gently down onto prop. Structural failure may result if conveyor is
lowered heavily.
NOTE:
When the park brake is applied with the power On, the power to the motor is disabled. Once
the park brake is released, normal operation can be resumed and the start-up procedure
does not have to be repeated.
NOTE:
The pump is only intended for use in situations where the engine is not running or main
hydraulic pump is not working.
