4. CONFIGURATION

The Configuration chapter describes how to configure panel settings to
make measurements and observations suited to the application needs.

4-1.

Acquisition

The acquisition process samples the analog input signals and converts
them into digital format for internal processing. You may select the
normal, average, or peak detect acquisition mode.

4-1-1. Selecting the acquisition mode

Procedure

waveform. This mode is useful for

detect

To activate the Peak detect mode,
press

Peak-Detect

. Only the minimum

and maximum value pairs for each
acquisition interval (bucket) are used.
This mode is useful for catching
abnormal glitches in a signal.
