What You Need
To install the XDS522/XDS522A hardware, you need the following:

XDS51x emulator kit
An XDS511 emulator, which includes
the components shown in Figure 1–2
on page 1-4
Printer cable
If you are using the XDS510PP, a print-
er cable (see Figure 1–2 on page
1-4)
Device configuration
kit
A device configuration kit, which in-
cludes a ’C8, ’C16, or ’C2xx SE device
and the target cable adapter board
(see Figure 1–3 on page 1-5)
XDS522 or XDS522A
emulation system kit
XDS522 or XDS522A BTT chassis
XDS522 or XDS522A interface adapt-
er pod with woven cables
Provided external power supply (5 V
@ 5 A), including the power supply
adapter cord
