The lateral rings on the orthosis
influence how strongly the patient is
straightened up. The further these
rings are moved towards the back
(dorsally), the stronger the orthosis‘
straightening effect will be. The posi-
tion of the rings is influenced by the
three (fig. 7).

Strap 1: Shoulder strap
(ring moves forward when
strap is tightened).

Strap 2: anterior waist strap
(ring moves forward when
strap is tightened).

Strap 3: posterior waist strap
(ring moves towards the back
when strap is tightened).

The straps can be shortened individually.
To do so, remove the hook-and-loop fas-
tener from the strap, shorten the strap,
and reattach the hook-and-loop fastener.

Moderately tighten the posterior strap,
by feeding the shortened strap through
the ring and attaching it to itself with
the hook-and-loop fastener (fig. 8).
