Channel level buttons
Here you can increase and decrease the relative vol-
ume for each speaker, even during playback.
1. Select the desired speaker by tapping the “CH SEL”
button

Test tone
With this function, you can use a test tone (“pink
noise”) to configure the speaker channels.
1. Push the TEST button

. A test tone will be emit-
ted on all speakers one after another.
2. Set the speaker level as described in the previous
section.

deactivate the test tone.
We recommend using a Teufel sound-level meter,
which you can order on our website in the accessories

Pushing the “INFO” button

shows information
on the current audio signal on the screen and on the
display panel for approx. three seconds. E.g. “48KHz
2.1 Stereo”.
Dimmer
With the “DIMMER” button

, you control the dis-
play panel brightness. Each time you press the button,
the display will change: bright, medium, dark, off.
Sleep
You want to fall asleep in your comfortable home
cinema? This automatic switch-off will help and turns
off the DecoderStation 6 after a preset time elapses
(max. 60 minutes).
• Briefly push the “SLEEP” button

once to show
the status of the automatic function:
“Sleep Timing OFF” – automatic function deactivat-
ed.
“Sleep Timing xx min” – Deactivation in xx minutes.
• Press the SLEEP button

the desired time to shut-off between 15 and 60
minutes.

Once the time you have set has elapsed, the Decoder-
Station 6 will switch to standby.
