24-HOUR DIGITAL TIMER
This function can be activated from any opera-ting mode.
Delayed switch-on
: with the appliance in the OFF
position, press the timer button (D).The display shows
the symbol and the time remaining before switch-on.
To set the timer, use the + and - adjustment buttons
(B), then wait a few seconds for the programming to be
set. The display shows the symbol to indicate you have
set the timer. When the programmed time has been
reached, the appliance turns on with the same settings
it had during the previous operation.
Delayed shut-off
: with the appliance on, press the timer
button (D). The display shows the symbol and the time
remaining before shut-off. To set the timer, use the + and
– adjustment buttons (B), then wait a few seconds for the
programming to be set. The display returns to show the
current settings and the symbol to indicate you have set
the timer. When the programmed time as been reached
the appliance shuts off automatically.
If you want to go back to operation with outthe timer,
press the timer button (D) twice. The timer symbol
disappears from the display.
SAFETY FEATURES
•
A thermal overload protector is built in to the heater
to prevent overheating.
•
When an overheat temperature is reached, the
heater will be automatically shut off. It can only
resume operation when the user resets the unit.
RESET INSTRUCTION
•
Unplug the heater and wait 5-10 minutes for the
unit to cool down.
•
After the 5-10 minutes, plug the unit in again and
operate normally.
MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the cord before moving or
servicing. Do not immerse heater in water.
CLEANING
•
Clean the heater at least once a month, more often
if dirty.
•
Clean the heater grill with the vacuum brush
attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will
remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater.
•
Do not attempt to take apart the heater. Do not
remove grill guard or allow heater to be operated
without grill guard in place.
•
Clean the body of the heater with a soft cloth.
Never use alcohol or solvents.
POWER SUPPLY CABLE
•
Arrange the cord away from areas where it is
likely to stand in people‘s way and to be tripped
over! Use only approved extension cords that
are appropriate for the appliance, i.e. have a
conformity mark!
•
Do not allow supply cord to come in contact with
heated parts of the appliance!
•
Do not remove the power plug from the socket by
pulling the cord! Do not move the appliance by
pulling the cord and do not use the cord to carry
objects!
•
Do not coil the cord around the appliance! Do
not operate with the cord coiled up – this applies
particularly for using a cable reeling drum!
•
Do not bend the cord, do not pull it through sharp
edges and do not place it on hot surfaces or open
fire!
STORAGE
Before you pack the appliance, switch the heater off,
unplug it and wait until the heater has cooled down.
If the fan heater will not be in use for a certain period,
store it in its original box. By packing the heater in its
original box you protect it from excessive covering with
dust and dirt. Never pack the appliance in its box until
it has cooled down! The product has to be stored in a
cool, dry place that is protected from direct sun light. It
is explicitly forbidden to store the appliance in humid or
wet rooms.
Warning: in order to prevent
overheating, do not cover the appliance!
