- it is impermissible to use petrol, kerosene or solvents to fire the boiler as they may cause an explosion or serious burns
to the user.
- in the case of the failure of the system and lack of water, water should not be added when the boiler is strongly heated,
as this may cause it to fail
- all the faults should be repaired immediately,
- fuel suggested by the producer should be used,
- do not interfere with the electronics,
- it is advisable to perform servicing using protective gloves,
- cleaning the soot and ash off the boiler and the burner should be performed during the breaks in the functioning of
the boiler,
-during the cleaning process, the boiler room should be aired.
6.4.2. IN ORDER TO KEEP THE BOILER IN GOOD TECHNICAL CONDITION IT IS ESSENTIAL TO:
-Clean the boiler and the fan systematically according to the producer’s guidelines.
- every year after the heating period is over the boiler should be inspected, the ash, slag etc, removed. The boiler should
be thoroughly cleaned of soot, tar and other build ups. The chimney stack should also be cleaned.
7. DELIVERY AND STORAGE
Boilers are delivered assembled (an exchanger with a basket) with the specification sheet, manual for the control and
assembly as well as the fan and warranty cards. The warranty card is the base for warranty. When purchasing a boiler
a customer should also receive a warranty card and manuals for:
- central heating boiler
- control /steering/
- fan
P.W.T.K. Termo-Tech Ltd. does not give warranty card duplicates for boilers.
The boilers have a basket on the right or the left side fixed by the manufacturer. There is a possibility of placing the basket
on the other side without warranty loss In the case of a boiler with power of 19 kW the charging hopper is fixed on the
right side and the smoke conduit is in the central position behind the appliance.
The boilers need to be transported in a vertical position.
The boilers may be stored In non-heated places but they necessarily have to be under a roof and aired. It is forbidden to
store the central heating boilers in the open air.
During vertical transportation it is impermissible to link rope to elements that stick out such as controller, door, handles,
screws as this may cause an accident or damage to the boiler.
8. BOILER DISPOSAL AFTER END OF LIFE
Boiler disposal as well as disposing of any parts of the boiler containing metal should be done by authorized companies
which specialize in metal recycling or are able to neutralize such units with consideration to all environment protection
rules.
