How to Replace the Boom
Extend Chains
Note: Perform this procedure on a
fi
rm, level
surface with the wheels chocked.
1 Start the engine and allow the engine to idle.
2 Raise the boom to a horizontal position.
3 Fully retract the boom.
4 Turn the machine off and remove the key from
the key switch.
5 At the pivot end of the boom, remove pins "l"
and pulleys "m".
6 Remove the lower screws securing the lower
chains "f" - "g".
