During the Work period (
W
), the unit
will generate contractions, try to
contract the muscle voluntarily at
the time to get the best possible
results.
This cycle Work/Rest will continue for
the duration of the programme
selected.
W
and
R
are displayed on the
screen.
Each programme is a balanced mix
of toning, firming, and shaping
specifically designed for the
designated muscle group.
All the programmes except
FACE 1
& FACE 2
consist of seven phases,
with a combination of settings
optimised for each part of the body
selected from the following.
•
Capillarization
(3 Hz to 8 Hz)
Treatment at these frequencies
significantly increases arterial flow in
the area treated. This is useful for
recovering after intense work and
improves local microcirculation.
•
Tissue Elasticity
(5 Hz to 15 Hz)
Stimulates the surface muscle fibres.
These frequencies facilitate the
removal of substances
accumulated on the surface and
improve the dynamic appearance
of the skin.
•
Micro lifting
(12 Hz to 20 Hz)
Toning facial muscles to improve
both the appearance and the
dynamism of facial muscles.
•
Modelling
(12 Hz to 30 Hz)
Due to a combination of
capillarizing and toning impulses,
this frequency range helps mobilise
fat in areas where it tends to
accumulate.
•
Firming up
(20 Hz to 30 Hz)
Firming up muscles working mainly
on slow-twitch fibres.
•
Lipolysis
(30 Hz to 40 Hz)
This frequency range is used in
electrolipophoresis treatments to
improve the appearance of the
skin.
•
Toning
(40 Hz to 50 Hz)
Toning up working mainly on fast-
twitch fibres.
•
Definition and bulk
(60 Hz to 100
Hz)
Defining muscles in the arms and
bust working mainly on explosive
fibres. Grows muscle size.
For all programmes except
FACE 1 &
FACE 2
, follow the guidelines below
to set the intensity level.
Phase 1 - Preparation:
Turn up the
stimulation gradually, until you feel
an intermittent tingling.
Phases 2 to 6 - Activation:
Increase
the intensity until you feel a very
smooth tensing under the pads,
there should be little visible
movement.
Use a low intensity for the first session
to help you to understand how the
machine works.
During the programme and over the
next few days the intensity should be
increased gradually to produce
marked, but not painful muscle
contractions.
