8.
TOWING THE SWEEPER VEHICLE
If it is necessary to tow the vehicle, the hydraulic system on the rear axle must be deactivated.
Is there a diesel engine fault? Firstly follow the procedure "Using the manual
hydraulic pump" in chapter 7.
A) Switch off the hydraulics system on the rear axle (fig. 28)
In the middle, underneath the dirt hopper, between both water tanks and just above the
hydraulics pumps, there is a ball valve. Turn the ball valve to the tow position.

B) Release hand brake
See chapter 7 "Using the hydraulic manual pump", section "Release hand brake".
The vehicle can now be towed.
The power steering is deactivated during towing. Nevertheless, the vehicle can
be steered. The steering wheel offers more resistance, but it will not damage the
vehicle.

The towing speed must be limited to max. 15 km/h.

Action A) and B) must first be undone before driving the
vehicle again.
