Emptying the dirt hopper
When the dirt hopper contains excess water, this can be drained off by opening the discharge
opening (the folded-up rubber hose) on the right hand side of the vehicle.
The operator must be absolutely sure that
•
during tipping or lowering of the dirt hopper, and
•
during opening or closing of the top valve
no other persons are in the vicinity of the vehicle.
If the operator has not ascertained this, every movement of the vehicle must be
stopped. There is a risk that someone may become trapped between the dirt
hopper and the frame or between the top valve and the hopper. Injuries can
also occur when the rear door hits people during opening or closing.
•
Tipping is prohibited when the vehicle is parked on a gradient!
•
Driving with a tipped dirt hopper and/or open top valve is prohibited!
