Hydraulic fluid level
Check the hydraulic fluid level on the gauge in the engine compartment, on the rear left
between the hydraulic tank and the engine.
Contact a technician if the hydraulic fluid level deviates.
6)
Air filter indicator
Check the air filter indicator on the right-hand side of the diesel engine on the air inlet
case. This indicator must not be red.
Contact a technician if the air filter indicator is red.
The air filter indicator can also be checked on the information display in the cabin. (see
section 3.7)
7)
Dirt hopper
Make sure that the dirt hopper is lowered completely.
8)
Hopper (top) door
Make sure that the top door is completely closed.
9)
Inspection hatch and blow-off chamber valves
Make sure that the inspection hatch and blow-off chamber valves are closed and locked.
10)
Suction mouth and brushes
Check the settings of the suction mouth and brushes.
Adjust the settings of the suction mouth and brushes if necessary (see section 9.2).

Water system
•
Start the vehicle in accordance with the “Starting the vehicle” procedure (section 4.2).
•
Switch on the water pump (fig. 6, no. 8) and the sprayer bar (fig. 6, no. 7).
•
Check if water is leaking from the suction mouth.
Contact a technician if no water is leaking from the suction mouth.

Lights
Check all the vehicle's lights, including the beacon.
Warn a technician if the lights are not functioning properly.
13)
Safety provisions
Check:
-
the reverse buzzer,
-
the tipping/lowering buzzer,
-
the hopper door open/close buzzer,
-
the tipping/lowering flashing light,
-
the action of the emergency stops,
-
the starting safeguard by using the handbrake,
-
the functioning of the sensor mat in the seat.
Contact a technician if any function is not operating properly.
