9.4. SIP parameters
Once the network parameters have been set correctly, you must configure the connection with the VoIP SIP PBX:
•
SIP server address
: specify the IP address of the SIP PBX to which AD639R should connect.
•
Port
: is the port number of the SIP PBX with which AD639R must operate. Generally it is the 5060, but
some stations use a different port.
•
Domain
: enter the domain to which register the system.
•
Outbound proxy
: some PBXs require that the extension number to call is followed by the proxy address. In
most cases this field can be left empty.
•
Local SIP port
: generally the 5060 port is used, but it is possible to specify a different number (i.e. for
particular routing tables).
•
Expiration
: indicates how many seconds the device should check the correct registration of the client.
•
User/password
: credentials for the registration of the extension (which obviously must have been already
created on the PBX).
•
Volume
: it is possible to set the volume used to reproduce the sound of Night Ringer. It is also the volume
used to reproduce the prerecorded announcements.
•
Ampli on:
indicates whether to activate the amplifier during the call.
•
Relay 1
: for the entire duration of the call it is possible to keep the relay1 activated. It can be used for
example to turn on a flash, a lamp, etc.
•
Relay 2
: for the entire duration of the call it is possible to keep the relay2 activated. It can be used for
example to turn on a flash, a lamp, etc.
•
Ringer tone
: it is possible to choose up to 10 pre-programmed ring tones in the device, those ending with
"incr" are the versions of the ringtone which increase the volume over time due to an operator's lack of
response. Position 0 (default) contains a standard ringtone (supplied on the CD with filename "Apt
buzzer"). If you want to insert a user-customized ringtone, or another ringtone supplied with the CD other
than the pre-programmed ones, you will have to load it in the "Message Manager" section in the "Night
Ring" position and click on the "Apply" button.
