6.2 SECURITY
This gateway includes a number of options to help provide a secure connection to the Wi-Fi
Network.
Security features include:
• WEP / WPA / WPA2 data encryption
• MAC address IP filtering
You can authenticate or encrypt your service on the Wi-Fi Protected Access algorithm, which
provides protection against unauthorized access such as eavesdropping.
The following screen appears when Security is selected. The Security page allows you to
configure security features of your gateway’s wireless WLAN interface. You can set the
network authentication method, select data encryption, specify whether a network key is
required to authenticate to this wireless network and specify the encryption strength.
Click Save/Apply to configure the wireless security options.
