The units for this screen can be changed to metric. Go to MENU > Prefs > Unit .
Under Len(Long) select km. Under Len(short) select meters.
•
Audible Indicator - Select this option if you wish to hear an audible warning before turns.
•
Visual Indicator - Select this option if you wish to see an arrow and the street you will be turning on appear on
the screen prior to a turn.

Before next turn, warn me - Enter the time that you wish to be warned before a turn while traveling in the
city, and enter the time that you wish to be warned before a turn while traveling on a highway.

Warning - Select the sound file (.wav) you wish to hear whenever you are warned while traveling. The default
warning sound file is SpdBeep.wav.

Let warning stay for - Determines how long the visual turn warning will be displayed on the screen.
•
Always warn within - This will have the program always warn you within this distance regardless of your
speed.
•
Auto Re-route - When checked, the software will automatically re-route if you leave the marked route by more
than the specified distance.
It is STRONGLY recommended that you check the box next to Auto Re-Route and set the value to
between 1,000 feet - 3000 feet ( 300 - 1000 meters ). Not doing so can create problems while
routing and/or re-routing. One of the problems can be the program announcing that you are
"missing a turn" when you are not.
