Motion event happens when RX series video recording server detect movements inside a
surveillance area.
Motion Detection Example
If motion detection function is activated, video recording server will capture object movement
inside the motion detection area. The normal display area is the selected motion detection area.
The blue area cannot detect any motion. Motion block is activated when there is any movement
on the camera.
Motion event is used to detect movements inside an area. Motion detection has different sensitivity
levels:
high
,
middle
,
low
and
custom
.

Area
In motion detection,
one
motion block is divided into
four
sub-blocks as
.
The definition of area is
how many sub-blocks have detected motion in order to trigger a motion event. The range of area
option is 25% (1 block) to 100% (4 blocks). If a detection area’s area is set to be 75%, then a
motion event will happen if more than 3 sub-blocks have detect movement at the same time.
