USB-PD Physical Layer Testing
Eye Mask Testing
To turn on eye mask testing:
1. Check Enable below Mask.
2. Choose to use the Standard mask definition or upload a Custom mask.
3. If using a custom mask, click Browse and select the Mask File.
4. Select where the eye is Tested At,Transmitter or Receiver.
5. Check Mask Hit to add the number of mask failures to the standard Measure table (not the PHY
measurement table).
To show where mask failures occur on the eye diagram:

Check Mask Failure Onto display red markers where the eye diagram conflicts with the mask region.

Check Failure Location to generate a track of the conflicting sample points.
