Choose a log file location by clicking the “Browse” button. The default is the “My Documents”
folder. The log file name will be the Unit ID and the extension “.log” appended to it; i.e.
“Unit1.log”.
Repeat this procedure for each unit in the PowerMAX system.
6.2 Add N+1 System to the Universal M&C
If utilizing several 7RU SSPA chassis in a N+1 configuration, the user will need to add N+1
system control to the Universal M&C. Choose “Action
→
Add Unit” from the Main Menu. Then
select "N+1 System" as shown in Figure 6-3 .
An “Add N+1 System” dialog window will appear, as shown in Figure 6-4 . Select the Unit
Name for each unit in the system and enter a System Name. Click on the [OK] button to
initialize the system. The System window may take several moments to load as the software
collects and compiles the data from each unit in the system.
