reqUIred tools and sUpplIes for InstallatIon

The following tools and supplies will be required for the installation of the Versa: 

• Tubing cutters (for GC connection)
• 7/16” wrenches (2) 
• 5/16” wrenches (2) 
• Ultra pure Helium or Nitrogen supply regulated prior to the Versa to 45-140 psi 
• 22mL headspace vials
• Vial caps and septa
• Vial cap crimping tool
• Gas tight syringes
• Volumetric flasks
• VOC standards

UnpackInG the Versa

Upon unpacking the Versa, optional components, and accessories, inspect for any damage or missing items. Claims for 

loss or shipping damage should be promptly filed with the carrier. Refer to the Versa parts list for further information.

1. Preferably using a pallet jack, move the Versa carton to the area of installation. 
2. Cut and remove the banding strap and tape. Open the flaps of the box.
3. Remove the two foam inserts revealing the kit box and the carousel. Remove the kit box and carousel and set 

aside. Remove contents from plastic bag attached to the inside of the box.

4. With two people, locate the handles in the foam and lift the Versa up and out of the shipping box. Remove foam 

from Versa unit one side at a time. Confirm the unit and the contents have not sustained damage during shipment.  

Contact shipper if damage is present.

Compare the contents of the shipping carton against the list below. Check for each listed item.

5. Compare the contents of the kit box against their location specified by the diagram on the inside of the kit box lid. 

Check for each listed item. See inside cover of kit box supplied with unit for part numbers and descriptions. 

6. Lift the Versa from the bottom and place it on a bench top. Place the carousel on the unit and locate the star 

washer and knob from the kit box. Attach and secure carousel to the unit.
