Navigation Reference
Changing the Navigation Reference setting can also help to reposition the acquired trace for analysis by selecting for different regions of the trace to remain
centered as the Time/div changes:
Centered (50%)
scales divisions equally so that whatever is at the center (50%) grid line remains at the center of the display. Other events move in reference to
the center as Time/div changes. With this setting, the trigger point could potentially move off the grid as the scale changes.
Timebase at 2 ms/div with -6.5 ms Delay shifting the trigger left of the center of the gird.
Timebase changed to 1 ms/div with Navigation Reference set to Centered (50%). Note how with this setting, the
trigger event has shifted off the grid to the left as time "expands", but the center of trace remains in the same place.
