Maintaining and

Troubleshooting the

Product

Cleaning the Syringe Module

It is important to clean up spills and remove contaminants, such as abrasives,
from the moving parts. It may also be necessary to chemically neutralize spills.

1

Shut down and unplug the autosampler and syringe module.

2

Wipe the exterior surfaces using a towel dampened with a lab-grade cleaning

agent.  Do not allow liquid to enter the cabinet of the syringe module.

3

Wipe with a towel dampened with clear water.

4

Dry using a lint-free wiper or dry towel.

The syringe module must be thoroughly dry before you turn the power on.

Cleaning the Syringe

Clean the syringe every few months or whenever it becomes dirty.

1

Remove the syringe from the syringe module as described on page 13.
