Hookswitch for handset operation (from V1.30):
Connecting a handset will result in the T2 key being used as a
hookswitch. The hookswitch signals picking up and hanging up of the
handset to the door intercom. Picking up the handset during a connected
call will result in the hands-free mode being terminated and instead
the handset's microphone and speaker will be turned on. When set to
operations mode 4, picking up the handset will result in a direct call (T2
key), in operations modes 5 and 6 picking up the handset will enable
the door intercom's telephone function and a telephone number may
be dialled from a connected number keypad. In operations mode 6, the
direct call keys may be used as speed dial keys, i.e. pressing a speed dial
key will result in dialling the telephone number saved for this key. You do
not need to hang up before making such a call, unless you have already
started to enter a telephone number via the connected number keypad.
In operations mode 7 (available in V1.42 and later) picking up the hand-
set will activate the speed dial function.
Please note:
When the operations mode has been changed and after you have left the
set-up mode, you should always reboot your door intercom, because it
is sometimes necessary to reboot the door intercom for the operations
mode to be set correctly.
