The total number of exclusive exchange lines and hot lines cannot exceed this

Call Metering Unit
The unit contains three metering circuits with digital displays. Any number of units may be used
to cater for the exchange lines connected to the system.
Remote Extension and Tie Line Interface Unit
The unit has a capacity to provide two interface circuits for any combination of remote
extensions, ring-in/ring-out tie lines or loop-in/ring-out tie lines. The number of
which
can be used depends on system size. In the case of tie line interfaces, any number up to the
maximum number of exchange lines can be used. In the case of remote extensions, any number
up to the maximum number of stations can be used.
