Powerfail Stations:

Check station internal wiring (refer to 3.6.7).

Replace powerfail station.

Background Music Control:

Check the background music source can be heard at SDF. Input impedance of the system
is 600 ohms.

Check that the station is functioning (station test).

Change ETSB board.

Change ESTB board for the station.

Alarm:

Check that the system is correctly programmed for open or closed contact alarm condition.

Check that the external alarm has operated.

Check the wiring from the alarm to the main equipment.

Change ETSB board.

Change DSS console if LED doesn’t light.

Alarm:

Check that the external alarm has turned off.

Switchhook Flash/Earth Recall:

Check system programming for switchhook flash or earth recall. Switchhook flash or earth
recall appears as the last line key on the station. Note that earth recall only functions on
lines assigned as PBX lines.

Check that earth recall board is correctly installed.
