- 35 -

Denmark, Sweden and Netherlands etc);

V23-- used in the UK;

V23-Japan-- used in Japan

Caller ID Start

This option allows you to define the start of a Caller

ID signal:

Ring-- to start when a ring is received.

Polarity-- to start when a polarity reversal is started.

CID Buffer Length

Default CID Buffer Length

FXO Mode

Select FXO Mode here

Relax DTMF

If  you  met  trouble  with  DTMF  detection,  you  can

relax the DTMF detection.

Echo Cancel

Enable/Disable the Echo Cancel function.

Echo Training

Enabling echo training will cause the PBX system to

briefly mute the channel, send an impulse, and use

the impulse response to pre-train the echo canceller

so  it  can  start  out  with  a  much  closer  idea  of  the

actual echo. Value may be "yes", "no", or a number

of  milliseconds  to  delay  before  training  (default  =

400)

Busy Detection

Used for detecting far end hang up or a busy signal.

Busy Count

If  Busy  Detection  is  enabled,  it  is  also  possible  to

specify  how  many  busy  tones  to  wait  for  before

hanging  up.  The  default  is  4,  but  better  results  can

be achieved if set to 6 or even 8. Mind that the higher

the  number,  the  more  time  that  will  be  needed  to

hang  up  a  channel,  but  lower  the  probability  that  a

false detection may occur.

Call Progress

If  turned  on,  call  progress  attempts  to  determine

answer, busy, and ringing on phone lines.
