VX1411A IntelliFrame Mainframe Instruction Manual

Perform the following steps to remove the EMI DIN shields (part numbers are
listed under Replaceable Parts on page 5–9):

1. Remove any modules surrounding the slots where you intend to remove the

Backplane EMI DIN shields. Refer to Figure 4–10.

2. Remove two 4-40 Torxdrive T-10 screws that secure each EMI DIN shield to

the backplane.

3. Remove EMI DIN shield from the backplane.

Install the EMI DIN shield by reversing the disassembly procedure.
