6 SIGL RAM TEST

6. This test automatically checks the integrity of the Signal RAM, which is
used to hold portions of the signal data that must be accessed at high speed.
“All Tests Passed” will appear on the second display line on successful
completion of the tests. Exit this diagnostic by pressing the
Y
or
B
key, as
usual.
7 ASIC REG TEST

7. This test automatically checks the integrity of communication between the

P and the ASIC. “All Tests Passed” will appear on the second display line
on successful completion of the tests. Exit this diagnostic by pressing the
Y
or
B
key, as usual.

8. To exit the Diagnostic submenu, scroll to this item and press Enter. The
instrument will return to the “DIAGN SUBMENU” item in the Utility menu.
To exit the entire Utility menu from this point, and resume normal instru-
ment operation, press any rectangular key.
Corrective Maintenance
Corrective maintenance deals with obtaining replacement parts, torque specifica-
tions, and component replacement.
Replacement parts are available from or through the nearest Tektronix field of-
fice or representative.
When ordering parts be sure to include the following information in your order:9
10. Instrument type (and option numbers, if any).
11. Instrument serial number.
12. Description of the part, as it appears in the electrical or mechanical parts list.
13. The Tektronix part number.
