hours

operation,

Before complete
cali bration,
thoroughly
clean
and
i nspect
this
instrument
as
o
u
t
l
i
n
e
d
in the
servi ce secti on
of
the
Power
Module manual .

Dangerous potentials
exist
at several
points
throughtout
this
instrument. When
the
instrument
is
operated
with
the
covers removed,
d
o not
touch
exposed connections or components. Disconnect
power by removing
the
SC 502 from
the
TM 500-
Series Power Module before
cleaning
the instrument
or
replacing
parts. The
SC 502
M
OD
E
switch
PWR
OFF
position
does
not
remove
al/ power from the
oscilloscope.
Preliminary Procedure

The
performance
of
this instrument
can be
checked
at
any temperature
within the 0°
C to
+50°
C
range.
Make
any
adjustment
at a temperature of
+25° C,
±5° C.

that
the power
is O FF

TM 500
Series
Power
Module.

the

the correct

220 V
ac) .
Also
check
that
the
regulat i ng
range
sel ected

voltage.
