FRU Disassembly/Assembly

Paper clamp sensor 1

This sensor is located under the drum.

1.

Power down the printer and remove the power cord.

2.

Open the top access cover and remove the transfer roll.

3.

Remove the drum as detailed in the earlier procedure “Drum” on 
page 8-20.

4.

Disconnect the paper clamp sensor's wiring harness.

5.

Remove the two screws securing the paper clamp sensor 1 in place.

Reverse these steps to reinstall paper clamp sensor 1.
