Application Examples
To summarize, in this view you can immediately see the following:
In the Tests Summary view ( FlexVu Plus panel 1), which tests have failed.
In the Test Failures view ( FlexVu Plus panel 3), which tests have failed most recently.
In the Thumbnails view ( FlexVu Plus panel 2), which elementary streams are currently carrying video content.
Examining Stream Content with the TSCA
The example transport stream created in the previous applications, testmux.mpg, will be examined off-line using the Transport
Stream Compliance Analyzer.
1. Open Transport Stream Compliance
Analyzer.
File > Program > Tektronix
MTS400 > Analyzers > TS Compliance
Analyzer
.
In the TSCA toolbar, select Open File .
You may need to close the Select
Real-time Interface dialog box, before
you can select the off-line analysis set
up.
In the Open File Analysis dialog box,
ensure that the Base Standard is DVB
and the Region is No Extensions.
Locate and select the example stream,
tetsmux.mpg .
Ensure that in the Advanced Settings
pane, the Stream Bit Rate and the
Timestamp Settings are as shown.
The analysis will take a moment to
complete.
