Additional capabilities of the 6517B include:

Built-in voltage source: The 100 V range provides up to ±100 V at 10 mA, while the 1000 V range
provides up to ±1000 V at 1 mA.

Data storage (50,000 points).
•
Built-in math functions.
•
Average and median filtering.
•
Built-in test sequences.
•
Remote operation using the IEEE-488 (GPIB) bus or the RS-232 interface.
•
Scan (measure) channels of an external scanner.
•
Scan (measure) channels of an internal scanner card (for example, Model 6521 or Model 6522)
installed in the option slot.
