Removal and installation

WARNING.

Before performing any procedure in this section, disconnect the power

cord from the line voltage source. Failure to do so could cause serious injury
or death.

ed personnel should perform service procedures. Before performing

this procedure, read the General and Service Safety summaries at the beginning
of this manual.

CAUTION.

Perform all DSA8300 removal and installation procedures in a

static-controlled environment, following the precautions listed in the Preventing
ESD section. (See page 19.)

NOTE.

Read the cleaning procedure before disassembling the instrument for

cleaning.

If you replace any circuit board, check to see if it is necessary to adjust the
instrument. (See Table 4 on page 68.)

Required equipment

Most assemblies in this instrument can be removed with a screwdriver handle
mounted with a size T-15, Torx® screwdriver tip. Use this tool whenever a
procedure step instructs you to remove or install a screw unless a different size
screwdriver is speci
