1 3 . SAFETY PRECAUTION
IN THE USE OF R32
13.1 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
All workers who engage in the refrigeration system should be in possession of the valid certification issued by the
authoritative organization and the qualification for the treatment of the refrigeration system recognized by this sector. If
another technician is required to maintain and repair the equipment, they must be supervised by the person who qualifies for
the use of flammable refrigerant. It can only be repaired using the method suggested by the equipment manufacturer.
13 .2 NOTES ON INSTALLATION
1. It is not permitted to use the air conditioner in a room with live flames (eg naked flames, gas or coal stoves).
2. It is not allowed to drill holes or tamper with the connection pipes.
3. The air conditioner must be installed in a room larger than the minimum area. The minimum area of the room is indicated on the
plate or on the following table 1.
4. The leak test must be performed after installation

13.3 NOTES ON MAINTENANCE
Check to see if the maintenance area or the chamber area meets the requirements of the nameplate.
- It is allowed to operate only in rooms that meet the requirements of the plate. Check if the maintenance area is well
ventilated.
- The continuous ventilation status must be maintained during the operating process. Check if there is a source of fire or a
potential source of fire in the maintenance area.

- The free flame is forbidden in the maintenance area; and the "no smoking" warning should be hanged. Check if the
appliance brand is in good condition.
- Replace the vague or damaged warning sign.
1 3 . WELDING
If you were to cut or weld the refrigeration system piping in the maintenance process, follow the steps as follows:
1. Turn off the unit and unplug the power supply.
2. Collect the refrigerant gas
3. Make a vacuum
4. Clean the pipes with nitrogen
5. Cut or weld
6. The welding operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
The refrigerant must be recycled in the specialized storage tank.
Make sure there is no naked flame near the vacuum pump outlet and the environment is well ventilated.
