FIRST USE
The
(B2)
safety cover or the
(A9)
cover must be in place for the appliance to function. Before using for
the first time, wash all parts of the accessories according to the instructions in the CLEANING paragraph.
For dishwasher instructions, please see the CLEANING paragraph.
Place the appliance on a flat, clean and dry surface and then plug it in.
THE FUNCTIONS OF YOUR APPLIANCE
CONTROL PANEL
• You have several options for starting your appliance:
- Intermittent operation (pulse):
Turn the speed selector (
A1’)
to the pulse
(A2)
by successive
pulses position for better control over your preparations.
- Continuous operation:
Turn the speed selector
(A1)
to the desired position (1 to12) depending
on the required preparations. You can change it as required during preparation.
- Turbo :
To «boost» some preparations. Turn the speed selector

to position 12, quickly press
the
(A12)
, button, and the speed increases. To return to speed 12, press this button once again.
- Stop:
Set the speed selector

back to 0.
TIMER FUNCTION
• This feature allows you to:
1/ Time the length of time used starting from when you turn the speed selector
(A1)
. The seconds
are displayed on screen
(A10)
, so you can measure the time required to obtain the desired result.
2/ Program an operation time less than or equal to 16 minutes. To do this:
Once the appliance is ready to operate, press the + or - keys to increase or decrease
(A11)
.
- For long times: hold your finger on the button, it will scroll faster.
- For short times, or to make adjustments: quickly press the + key.
- To go back directly from the 16 minute maximum time to zero: hold your finger on the + button
for 2 seconds.
- To go directly from zero to 16 minutes, hold your finger on the - key for 2 seconds.
- To cancel a time: press + and - together.
As soon as you turn the speed selector
(A1)
, a countdown will appear on your display; your appliance
will stop as soon as the programmed time has been reached.
The appliance can also be stopped at any time by turning the speed selector to
(A1)
the 0 position.
MESSAGE DISPLAY
• Your appliance features electrical protections that allow it to be used in complete safety. These
protection systems can stop the appliance; a message is then displayed (A10).
“SAFE”:
• Make sure you have adhered to all the safety precautions for setting up the various accessories:
- Mixing bowl/mini-chopper/grinder/juice extractor: The safety cover (B2) must be fully lowered
onto the bowl (B1).
- Mixing function (dough, whisk...): The safety hatch must be locked and the safety lid (B2)
must be fully lowered onto the bowl (B1).
- Chopper head/vegetable chopper and roller accessory are, or pasta maker function: The safety
cover (A9) must be in place and the safety hatch (A5) must be locked.
“STOP”:
• This appliance is equipped with a surge protector. If an anomaly is detected, it will turn itself
off. Turn the speed selector (A1) back to 0, adjust your preparation (remove some ingredients
from the bowl, add some liquid, add some oil for brioche...) and select the speed again.
• In the case of a significant surge, it is possible that your appliance will not turn on straight
away. In this case, wait a few minutes before turning it on again.
“END”:
• The programmed time has elapsed.
• You have let your appliance run too long (time over 16 minutes). Set the speed selector (A1)
to 0, wait a few minutes and turn the appliance back on.

Fitting the accessories:
• Turn your appliance and the time display

• Tilt the handle

and lock it in raised position.

if it remained in position by pulling towards the trigger as shown

• Fill your bowl

and place it on the appliance, handle facing you, then slowly turn it to the left,
until it stops.
• Insert the dough hook

into the outlet

and push in a counter-clockwise movement until it
stops.

• For the other functions, you simply have to insert the mixer

or the whisk

• Take the lid

with your left hand and slide it in the runners located at the front and back of the
head(A0) until it stops.

• Unlock the multi-function head again

push firmly to lock it on the bowl (audible click).

The appliance will not start if the cover is not properly secured to the bowl.
Tips:
Your appliance features a surge protector: the speed will automatically go down in case of a surge
or if the speed is too high.
Knead: speed 1 to 3

Use the dough hook(C1)(maximum operation time: 10 min.)
Bread dough: In order to ensure the best results, we recommend that you do not use more than 1 kg of
strong white bread flour (and 600 ml of lukewarm water) at once, or 750 g (and 450 ml of lukewarm water)
heavier flour (strong wholemeal flour, rye flour...).
Leavened dough (brioche, kugelhopf...): Do not use more than 500 g of flour at a time.
Shortcrust pastry dough: Maximum of 300 g of flour.
Mix: speed 1 to 12
(maximum usage time: 15 min)
• Use the mixer

• You can mix up to 3.55 kg of light mixture (sponge cake, biscuit & cookies, etc...). Add dried fruits, choco-
late chips, etc. at speed 1 You can also use the mixer to make mincemeat or mashed potato up to speed 3
• Never use the mixer (C2) to knead heavy dough.
