This system is commonly called DPM (debit
proportionel au moteur).
As the speed increases, the pressure increas-
es and vice versa.
USEFUL INFORMATION
When distributing the product, pay attention to
the pre-set speed and pressure by following
the data in the nozzle table.
The tables give the volume distributed per
hectare for each type of nozzle at the desired
speed and pressure, and they are calculated
by following: V=600xQ/1xV where
V = volume (L/HA)
Q = nozzle flow rate (L/MIN)
I = nozzle distance in metres (0.5)
V = forward speed (km/h)
In order to check, considering nozzle wear over
time and possible falls in pressure, proceed
as follows:
With the pump in operation at the pre-set pres-
sure, measure the quantity of liquid that comes
out of one of the nozzles in lt/min. Multiply this
figure with that of the table given below cor
-
responding to the speed chosen for the treat-
ment. The resulting figure is the exact quantity
of liquid to be distributed per hectare.
USING ACCESSORIES (REGAL V)
Should it be necessary to increase the pres-
sure in the circuit (using premixers, ejectors,
etc.) without using the knob no. 5, it is possible
to proceed as follows:
Put all the levers of taps no. 7 in the upright
position (except for that of the tap to be used
which must be in the on position) with the
general lever no. 4 in position on, with the
pump in normal operation, check whether the
pressure reached is sufficient to carry out the
desired operations.
If the pressure reached were not sufficient, it
is necessary to use ring nut no. 5 to increase
the pressure.
On finishing work, bring all the ring nuts and
levers back to their starting position.
MAINTENANCE
Carefully wash the regulator after each treat-
ment and anyhow when it is set aside for a few
days or at the end of the campaign.
Oil and grease the seals of the tap pins and all
the rotating or sliding parts.
Do not use thinners or solvents for washing.
FROST DAMAGE
When put away for the winter, if it is exposed to
subzero temperatures, add a sufficient quantity
of antifreeze for car radiators to the liquid for
the final wash.
In no event start work under pressure or with-
out the regulator when the liquid is frozen.
Pieces of ice could block the outlet causing
breakage of the pump, pipes and of the regula-
tor due to over-pressure.

All'aumentare della velocità aumenta la pres-
sione e viceversa.
INFORMAZIONE UTILE
Durante la distribuzione del prodotto prestare
attenzione alla velocità ed alla pressione,
predeterminate seguendo i dati della tabella
ugelli.
Le tabelle indicano il volume distribuito per
ettaro per ogni tipo di ugello alla velocità e
pressione desiderata, e sono calcolate se-
guendo la: V=600xQ/IxV dove
V=volume (L/HA)
Q=portata ugello (L/MIN)
I=inerspazio ugelli in metri (0,5)
V=velocità di avanzamento (Km/h)
Per controllo e verifica, considerando nel
tempo l'usura degli ugelli ed eventuali cadute
di pressione, agire come segue:
Con la pompa in movimento alla pressione
prefissata, misurare la quantità di liquido che
esce da uno degli ugelli in lt/min. Moltiplicare
questo dato con quello della tabella sottoin-
dicata corrispondente alla velocità scelta per
il trattamento. Il dato che risulterà è l'esatta
quantità di liquido da distribuire per ettaro.
USO DI ACCESSORI (REGAL V)
Per l'eventuale necessità di aumentare la
pressione del circuito (uso di premiscelatori,
eiettori, ecc) senza agire sulla apposita mano-
pola n° 5 è possibile agire come segue:
portare tutte le leve dei rubinetti n°7 in posi-
zione verticale ( escluso quella del rubinetto
da utilizzare che deve essere in posizione on
) con la leva generale n°4 in posizione on con
la pompa in normale lavoro verificare se la
pressione raggiunta è sufficiente ad eseguire
le operazioni desiderate.
Se la pressione raggiunta non fosse sufficiente
è necessario agire sulla ghiera n°5 per aumen-
tare la pressione .
Terminato il lavoro riportare tutte le ghiere e le
leve nella posizione di partenza.
MANUTENZIONE
Lavare accuratamente il regolatore dopo ogni
trattamento e comunque quando viene messo
a riposo per alcuni giorni o a fine campagna.
Oliare od ingrassare le tenute dei perni rubi-
netto e di tutte le parti in rotazione o scorri-
mento.
Non usare diluenti o solventi per il lavaggio.
TEME IL GELO
Nel rimessaggio invernale se esposto a tem-
perature sotto lo zero immettere nel liquido
dell'ultimo lavaggio una sufficiente quantità
di liquido antigelo per radiatori di tipo auto-
mobilistico.
In nessun modo mettere in lavoro con pres-
sione o senza il regolatore in presenza di
liquido gelato. I pezzi di ghiaccio potrebbero
occludere lo scarico provocando la rottura della
pompa, dei tubi, o dello stesso regolatore per
sovrapressione.
Vale per interspazio ugelli di 0,5 mt.
