OLPOSCOPE ARM SUPPORT
.
To make possible the attachment of a colposcope to the chair, Tecnodent can provide a specific support, shown in figure 19.
The accessory must be inserted into the housings placed under the seat freame, on the front of the chair, then fixed in place by
tightening one of the ends with the provided screw. Depending on the accessories assembled on the chair, specific adaptors may
be required; they can be provided upon request.

SYSTEM FOR BACKREST LOWERING
.
If specified while ordering, the SERENITY NEXT chair may be fitted
with a mechanism that allows a quick lowering of the backrest section.
The control knob is placed on both sides of the backrest.
To unlock the system, rotate the knob as shown in figure 20, while
holding the weight of the backrest.
Once the need of quick backrest lowering has ended, it is necessary
to perform a complete backrest movement by using the electrical con-
trols of the chair, aimed to bring the backrest itself to its end positions.
Such precaution will prevent the possibility of failures, especially with
pre-programmed working positions.
7.17. A
DDITIONAL ELECTRIC SOCKET ON THE BASE
.
Upon request, at the moment of the order, Tecnodent can equip the
device with two additional sockets, located at the back of the chair
base, besides the mains switch.
The protection fuses are placed near the socket themselves.
To replace the fuses, operate in a similar way, as specified for the
chair power supply fuses (paragraph 5.3).
WARNING.
The fuses protect the overloading of the addi-
tional sockets. It is recommended to verify that
the power absorption of the equipment connected
does not exceed the maximum power rated for the
socket (300 VA).
