5. SETTING UP
5.1 WARNINGS
The manufacturer has reasonably predicted all possible hazards and user sa-
fety but
different installation and transport conditions may cause uncontrolled and
unpredictable situations, for this reason it is mandatory to evaluate eventual
residual risks and taking under account the indications below:
Setting up and tuning operations on the machine must be executed by quali-
fi ed and authorized personnel.
A.
Confi rm the integrity of components and in case of malfunction and/or de-
fect, suspend installation and replace machine.
B.
Always visually inspect the machine box: abnormalities and/or defects must
be reported to the forwarder.
C.
Open the top of the box and lift the machine holding it by its base. This
procedure should be carried on by at least 2 persons.
D.
Packaging elements (metal clips, cellophane, etc.) may cause hazards like
cuts, if they’re not handled with care. Keep out of children’s reach.
E.
Remove all accessories: manuals, fi lter holders, cleaning material, etc.
F.
Position the machine in a perfectly horizontal plane. Adjust the feet to achie-
ve so; Use a counter with enough resistance and rigidity to hold the load
and assure the stability of the machine. Make sure there is enough space
between the machine and the walls to allow correct ventilation.
G.
Do not obstruct ventilation holes.
H.
Make sure the sewage pipe has a siphon.
