2. INTENDED USE – RECOMMENDATIONS – WARRANTY
2.1 GENERAL WARNINGS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Read the manual carefully before using the machine.
Before installing the machine, verify if the electrical installation and the sa-
fety device are conform to the machine technical characteristics (see plate
attached to the coffee machine).
The power cord must be directly connected to the main electrical installa-
tion.
The electrical installation must have means of disconnecting the machine,
according to the rules of installation.
In case of malfunction, shut down the machine acting in the residual-current
circuit breaker and contact technical support.
If any damage occurs to the power cord, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its post-sale service or similarly qualified personnel, in order to
avoid danger.
Shut down the machine, acting on the residual-current circuit breaker, befo-
re any repair/maintenance operation.
All installation/maintenance/dismantling operations must be carried out ex-
clusively by qualified and authorized personnel.
The machine may be used by 8 year old (or more) children and by people
with limited physical and/or mental capabilities or with lack of experience
and knowledge, as long as they are supervised or have had instructions
regarding the safe use of the machine and as long as they understand the
risks involved.
Children should be supervised to insure they do not play with the machine.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be made by children unless they are
over 8 year old and supervised.
While functioning, noise level should not overcome 70 db.
For the proper functioning of the machine, do not expose to temperatures
below 10° C and above 35° C.
Do not directly expose the machine to climatic agents (sun, rain, etc.).
In case of prolonged stop, at temperatures below 0⁰ C (zero degrees Celsius),
it is advisable to completely empty the machine, otherwise damage or cra-
cks may occur in the boiler and tubing.
