Step 12 - Dialout settings
- Where the 'SMS' option was selected at the "Installation: Commissioning - Cello 6
Wizard: Base station details" section of this manual then the SMS contact details of the
host computer entered at that stage will be displayed in the "SMS Number" field.
- Where the 'SMS' option was not selected at the "Installation: Commissioning - Cello 6
Wizard: Base station details" section of this manual then the SMS contact details will not
be greyed out in the "SMS Number" field.
- Regardless of configuration, the telephone number of the fitted SIM card is entered, in
full including international code ('+' is automatically entered by the Cello 6 Wizard
software) and actual number (without leading '0'), in "Own Number" field.
- For example where a UK ('+44') SIM card number is 12345678907 then it is entered in
the "Own number" field as shown.
- Note if a SIM card is used only for data, TCP or GPRS, and does not feature an actual
number then it is still required that a value is entered in the "Own number" field. It is
recommended that where no number is available then the last 10 digits of the Cello's
serial number are entered here.
- Regardless of set up, the frequency that the Cello 6S will send its data is to be
selected in the "Send frequency" drop-down box - refer to the following sheets for details
of the available options.
