Adjusting the steering wheel weight stack cable tension
During the initial period
of use, the weight stack
cable will lengthen
slightly, due to the
natural settling of its
internal fibres. The cable
must therefore be re-
tightened by turning
the special adjusting
screw (
C
) situated
above the weight stack
plates.
Pull lever (
S
).
Loosen locknut (
B
).
Screw in the adjustment
screw (
C
).
Tighten up locknut (
B
).
Check that the pin (
Q
)
fits easily into the hole
in any of the weight
stack plates.
Put lever (
S
) back to its
initial position.
